Thanksgiving at last! It is easily my favorite Holiday of the year with loads of food, friends, wine , football and pies and I do not have to buy one damned present for anybody. Minerva the Turkey has had the appropriate amount of bread crumbs, celery, onion sausage and sage stuffed up her ass and has taken up residence in the oven for the next 6 hours or so. The wine cabinet is full, the bar is stocked and the dessert table is about to bend from all the good stuff the wife has concocted the past couple of days. We have a couple of the kids (the oldest enjoying the snow and protests up in Baltimore) and a bunch of friends over later and it should be a great day.
